5/14/15: Rainy day in London

Try not to direct your eyes to the one block missing in Cuse
It would not have been London if we didn't experience at least one day of rain.  We started our day with standing out as a tourist asking about three different people how to enter the train station following standing on the wrong side of the escalator, who knew there was a fast lane and a standing lane on an escalator.  The first stop was the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park where we got to sit in and watch some swim classes taking laps in the once Olympic swimming pool (Aquatics Centre). It only cost 5 pounds for locals to come and swim and use the facility.  Next stop at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park was the ArcelorMittal Orbit where you travel to the top (if you're brave) to look over the views of the city as well as looking at the construction going on around the park.  The 2012 Olympic stadium is now being transformed into West Ham Soccer Club's new stadium, with lots of work still to be done.

We then went to see the Tower of London (still pouring rain) and saw the crown of jewels and some interesting weapons that had been used (some seeming like they were used for over kill).  There was a lot of walking done and many, many stairs (thanks for being patient Steph with those crutches)

Okay limited WIFI and Professor Ryan has many plans left for the day

...too be continued when WIFI is available
